Spend a week exploring the best of Jerusalem and its surroundings in a way you’ve never experienced before. You’ll pray in Al-Aqsa, see important historical places, and enjoy exciting hikes through beautiful valleys and mountains. We have multiple activities planned, including a sunset BBQ in the mountains. It’s the perfect trip for anyone who wants a mix of faith, learning, and adventure.

 

All are welcome regardless of religious background, ability, or experience. The hikes are relatively easy and fun. If you can complete a 5km walk then our planned hikes should be a breeze!

Itinerary Highlights​​​

Day 1 – Tel Aviv - Jerusalem

• Checking in at the hotel and overview of the following days plan.

Day 2 – Tour of Masjid al-Aqsa

• Spend the day in Masjid al Aqsa.

• Guided tour around the Masjid, explaining its history, importance and architectural brilliance. 

​

Day 3 – Tour of the Old City

• Guided tour of the Old City and underground tunnels (Ancient City).

Day 4 – First Hike

• Our first hike - a desert trail which leads us through dramatic canyons, crystal-clear natural pools, and breath-taking mountain views. It’s a perfect combination of adventure and tranquillity, offering refreshing water spots and stunning landscapes throughout the journey. Upon return, we plan to visit the Maqam of Prophet Musa AS and other historical sites in Jericho.

Day 5 – Evening Barbeque

• This is a free day to allow group members to shop in the Old City markets and purchase souvenirs. After praying Asr Salah in Masjid al-Aqsa, we shall head to the mountains of West Jerusalem to have a barbeque as we watch the sun set.

Day 6 – Second Hike

• This hike takes us through a lush green valley filled with flowing water, shaded trails, and some of the most peaceful natural scenery in the region. Along the route, we’ll encounter hidden springs, ancient ruins, and plenty of opportunities to cool off in refreshing pools. Upon return, we plan to stop over in Acre or Haifa for a late lunch before heading back to Jerusalem.

Day 7 – Jumma in Masjid al-Aqsa

• This day shall begin with a guided tour of the underground tunnels adjacent to Masjid al-Aqsa. We will then prep for Jumma Salah and head to Masjid al-Aqsa. After Salah we will have another guided tour within the Masjid.

Day 8 - Departure

• Easy morning and return transfer to the airport.

Additional Information

• All participants are to meet in Luton airport before boarding the flight. If your flight is from an alternative location we shall meet in Ben Gurion Airport. 

• Entry is subject to approval from the Israeli Security Team. Hiking Haifa cannot guarantee any participant entry, though all participants are expected to be granted entry. ​

• Spots are guaranteed only after booking the flight, the flight will be considered as the deposit. The rest of the money can be paid up to a week before travel.

• Minimum age 18+.
